Dungeon Siege 3 for PC, PS3 and X360 is the third installment of the popular hack’n’slash (a combination of RPG anf action elements) series. It was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. First two game of the series were created by Gas Powered Games.
The Plot
The truce between the Ehb’s biggest factions is coming to an end. We play as an heir of the Tenth Legion, an organization that kept watch over the kingdom until it was accused of treason and almost completely destroyed. The time has come to reestablish the Legion and bring it its former glory. Only we can save the kingdom of Ehb from chaos and destruction.
Mechanics
Gameplay in Dungeon Siege 3 for PC, PS3 and X360 combines the best elements from the series’ previous games with some modern ideas. The game has high-resolution visuals, and a cooperative mode that shows how good the game actually is. There are four primary classes in the game but, depending on chosen skills and specializations, they offer different playstyles. Choosing a class that fits our preferences should not be a problem at all.
Dungeon Siege 3 has a well-developed and rich universe that will yield many hours of gameplay. Despite being quite linear, the game’s plot, and its final outcome, is influenced by our decisions. Our companions are not always agreeing with our actions and, if we step too far from what they believe in, will leave us.
