The Last of Us TV Cast on Wonderful Fanart
More and more fanart is appearing online depicting Joel and Ellie from the TV adaptation of The Last of Us. Thanks to them we can imagine what Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey could look like in their roles.

The internet became abuzz when it was announced who would play the lead roles in HBO's upcoming TV adaptation of The Last of Us. People loved the choice of Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) for the role of Joel, although many fans dreamed of Hugh Jackman (Logan) or Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones). A bit more criticism came down on the creators for engaging Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) for the role of Ellie, as she, according to fans, does not resemble the teenage heroine known from the Naughty Dog's games.
There's a chance that the skeptics will change their minds when they see the fresh fanart showing what the aforementioned actors might look like in the upcoming series. The beautifully detailed artwork of Joel was shared on Twitter by Andrea C. White. Her work was even shared by Neil Druckmann - chief creative officer of the original The Last of Us and producer of HBO's adaptation.
Even more fan artwork appeared in the thread started by Naughty Dog's creative director. One of them stimulates the imagination, as it presents Joel and Ellie in one picture, proving that Bella Ramsey does fit the profile of the brave girl trying to find herself in a post-apocalyptic world. Unfortunately, it's hard to find the author of this piece, although there is a signature on the work.
That's some really beautiful artwork that makes us even more eager to see the series. Unfortunately I don't know when exactly to expect it, but we're not likely to worry about the final quality as talented names are responsible for it. The position of lead producer is held by Craig Mazin, showrunner of the outstanding Chernobyl, and behind the camera we will find, among others, Kantemir Balagov, winner of as many as 3 Palmes d'Or in Cannes Film Festivals.
