The Steam Summer Sale 2025 is just a month away, so it’s a good idea to start saving up now
Summer’s coming, so it’s time to plan your Steam shopping spree. Mark your calendars and hope for some big price drops on your wishlisted games.

Summer’s almost here, and you know what that means: Steam’s big seasonal deals are coming! This year’s Steam Summer Sale kicks off on Thursday, June 26 and runs through July 10, 2025, giving us two full weeks of massive discounts on everything from indie gems to big titles. So you might want to stash some cash and get ready to snag those sweet game promos.
Get ready, Steam Summer Sale 2025 is almost here
We had to say goodbye to Steam Delivery Girl earlier this year, but now there’s fresh key art on the way from Tim Peacock to hype up the next big event. Still, let’s be honest – we’re all way more interested in what games we might score with special offers.
So, what can we expect this time around? There are some heavy hitters from last year we’re hoping to see marked down. Black Myth: Wukong and Metaphor: ReFantazio are at the top of the list. And of course, Elden Ring’s long-awaited DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is something everyone’s watching. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle still hasn’t dipped below 20% off on Steam, so maybe, just maybe, this will be the sale that finally gives us a better deal.
But let’s not overlook some of the smaller gems from 2024, like Pacific Drive, and Animal Well (which, not gonna lie, completely wrecked my sleep schedule one weekend). And fingers crossed we see Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on sale again, or better yet, get a discount on the whole franchise while they’re at it.
And for this year’s games, I’m really hoping for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Monster Hunter Wilds and Blue Prince get some price drops soon. It’d also be nice to see FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time go on offer, since it didn’t even get a little intro discount.
There’s still about a month to go before the big deals kick in, so it’s definitely smart to hold onto your cash for now. But in the meantime we can always check out the ongoing Steam events like Zombies vs. Vampire Fest, Hooded Horse May Sale, or Dragon Quest Celebration. Who knows, maybe something on your wishlist is already on sale.
